About.

With an MFA and BFA in Fine Arts, Sarita is currently working towards a PhD in Arts Ed at SFU.  She founded the artist team, GreenLight, in 2017 and won two public art commissions with this group.  GreenLight focuses on cultural collaboration, not only by having a diverse range of ethnic backgrounds within the group itself, and also focussing on diversity as themes of public art.

Sarita has been teaching post-secondary art courses for the past 22 years at the following institutions:  Emily Carr University, Capilano University, Langara College, LaSalle College, PAVI, VCAD, Thinktank Animation, and VFS.  The courses taught included life drawing, foundational drawing, design, sculpture and colour theory.
